About me
Someone once told me we never get tired of play—because it’s something we can happily lose ourselves in for hours. We’re happiest when we choose a calling that doesn’t feel like work, but like play—so we can truly fulfill ourselves. That’s what photography means to me: a form of play I fully focus on, where I’m always looking for new paths and challenges, because the possibilities are endless. That’s why I photograph people—and whenever I can, fashion too. Just like in photography itself, the possibilities within people are endless.
I literally started photography as play. I was 10 when we borrowed a serious SLR camera for my grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary. My dad let me wear the heavy camera around my neck for a few shots. From that moment on, we were inseparable. Finding subjects, composing, pressing the shutter button—it completely captivated me, even when we discovered that in some photos there was only a blurred dog. Since then I’ve played this game as much as I can, always trying to get better and better, and to realize newer and newer ideas.
That’s also why I love shooting in the studio—where I can create every detail of the concept and build my own world. In such a situation both the model and the photographer can reveal sides of themselves they may not even have known existed. When these things come together, special, unique and deeply personal images are born.

When and how did you come to Random?
First, we had an amazing shoot with Random as part of a university project, and then after graduation we continued.
