About me

I wasn’t the little girl who stole her mum’s make-up, because my mum never wore any—so there was nothing to “borrow”. I remember that when I was younger, back in the countryside, I always ran to a beautician whenever I needed a nice look for an occasion. I didn’t have the courage or the knowledge to practise on myself. That country girl later moved to Budapest and eventually realised that you don’t have to go to beauty school to learn make-up—despite what I believed. I was interested in the world of cosmetics too, but what I really wanted was to learn make-up specifically. So I enrolled in a make-up course, then another one, and I’ve been striving to learn new things ever since. If I had to pick one thing I love most about being a make-up artist, it’s the moment when my client first sees herself in the mirror after the look is finished. Over the years I’ve been able to try many areas of the profession—from commercials to weddings, I’ve been involved in almost everything, except films. That’s still on my bucket list. Style-wise I prefer natural make-up, where I enhance my client’s beauty rather than hiding her face behind an overly heavy look. I especially love doing bridal make-up—because that carefree happiness that fills the room while getting ready always rubs off on me, too.

When and how did you come to Random?

I was fortunate to join Random in 2017. I qualified as a make-up artist in 2016, and besides beauty make-up I’d always wanted to take part in projects that push me out of my comfort zone. Co-creating the vision, the freedom to create, the vibe of teamwork, and the atmosphere—these are what make these occasions uniquely special for me.
