About me
Around 2019 I began taking photography more seriously. At that time I met Tímea Kaplonyi, my later mentor, who saw something in me and helped bring out the artist inside. That encounter was a turning point—soon after, I decided I wanted to devote my life to photography. At first I mainly shot weddings and portraits; I found inspiration in capturing people, faces and emotions. As time went by, I started spreading my wings and dipped into the world of creative make-up and beauty photography. I immersed myself in different techniques of digital post-production and developed my own refined and efficient retouching workflow. Over the years I had the chance to meet many great, inspiring professionals, and I was drawn into the exciting, diverse world of fashion photography. I began working with model agencies and fashion designers, and soon I opened my own studio in downtown Budapest.
At the heart of my work are atmosphere, human presence and richly detailed visuals. I’d place my style on the border between contemporary fashion photography and subtle fine-art portraiture. My images aim to be not only aesthetically strong but also to convey feelings and stories. My visual language is defined by intentional light shaping, compositional precision, and a clean, harmonious color palette. I love depth and intimacy; I often use tight crops, soft focus, and tones painted with natural or artificial light. In my work I always strive for a unity of model, styling and light—creating a distinctive mood, a quiet visual presence that holds the viewer’s gaze. My goal is for my images to go beyond the surface and leave the viewer with an atmosphere and experience they’ll remember.
When and how did you come to Random?
In 2023, a very kind acquaintance drew my attention to the Random Shooting Day movement. I really liked the idea of creating for a good cause, and I was also impressed by the group’s high-quality work. After that, I kept messaging Koczka—the heart of Random Shooting—until he let me into the group, which I’m incredibly grateful for :)
