About me
I graduated in art history and aesthetics, but during my university years I increasingly turned toward photography. Portrait and street photography became my main fields, while as a commercial photographer I also shoot events and advertising work. I especially enjoy projects where I can connect an art-historical and aesthetic way of seeing directly with photography—and Random is an excellent opportunity for that. I gained professional practice as an assistant to several renowned photographers, and I also completed a short course at MOME. I’m a member of the Folpak collective, a young creative community where both personal and community projects are defining for me.
When and how did you come to Random?
From 2019 onwards, I worked as a photo assistant alongside Kristóf Galgóczi-Németh, and I learned a huge amount from him in practice. He also introduced me to Random, so later I wrote to Koczka to say I’d love to try myself at a shoot. In the end, in mid-October 2023 he threw me in at the deep end and entrusted me with an exciting portrait series—where, because of a power outage, we had to battle not only with the lights but also with the temperature.
